What you should know:
- We recommend writing “For historic marker” on the check’s memo line.
- The application will be processed after your payment is received.
- The check will be held in escrow until the approval process is complete.
- Homeowners doing their own research: Mail your check together with your supporting documentation once it’s complete. Research guidance is available here. (In this case, your online application simply gives us a heads-up of your intention to obtain a historic marker and we can notify you if there’s a program update.)
