Sandwich is home to seventeen historic cemeteries, family burial plots, and burying grounds that reflect the town’s deep historical roots. Some date back to the 17th century and include some of the oldest surviving gravestones on Cape Cod, offering a window into the lives of the town’s earliest settlers and the generations that followed.
